Logan Farrar (BT '13-15) batting .319 for the VCU Rams

The college baseball season is over half way complete.  We are able to see glimpses of excellent ball players working hard to make it to the professional level.  It is exciting to be able to see such talented baseball players right in our backyard at Shirley Povich Field.

Brandon Lowe (BT ’14) is having an incredible year for the top-20 ranked Maryland Terrapins.  Lowe is leading Maryland in almost every offensive category.  He is batting .385 from the plate, with 10 doubles, two triples, eight home runs, 26 RBI, 40 runs scored, and is leading the team in walks and hit-by-pitch.  Zach Morris (BT ’13) is having a solid year on the mound for the Terps, pitching 16 innings in 10 appearances, posting a 2.25 ERA and 2-1 record.
