The Big Train has won the regular season championship three years straight, but has not been able able to take that next step as league champs. In this years campaign the team will look to take that next step, and it begins at the home of the D.C. Grays, whom the Big Train defeated in four of five meetings a season ago.

Manager Sal Colangelo still doesn't have his full roster intact, but has used the same players at the top of his lineup in his two exhibiton games, starting with Garrett Kueber (Moorpark). Clayton Daniel (Jacksonville State), Allen Smoot (San Francisco), Cameron Daugherty (Bowling Green State), Jimmy Monaghan (Campbell) and Justin Morris (Maryland) have followed Kueber in each of the two games.

Colangelo's projected starter for the season opener is right-hander Sean Barry (San Diego). Barry made 20 appearances during the spring for San Diego, starting twice. He held a 2-3 record with an ERA of 4.88, striking out 30 batters in 31 1/3 innings.

Bethesda will look to win its season opener for the third straight year.

First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
