This matchup will be a rematch of last year’s championship game, which the Redbirds won. The Big Train has come up short against Baltimore in four straight league championshp games.

Clayton Daniel (Jacksonville State) has been the Big Train's hottest hitter to begin the season, reaching base in 11 of his 15 plate appearances. His six walks and seven RBIs leads the Cal Ripken League thus far. He's also tied for second in the young season with four runs scored.

Cameron Daugherty (Bowling Green State) will also look to carry over his performance from Thursday's 8-4 victory, when he recorded three hits and scored one run.

Matthew Herzog (Louisburg) is the projected pitcher for Sal Colangelo’s ball squad in the early-season rematch. He went 4-0 this past Spring as a freshman with an ERA of 3.14.
