After their makeup game against the Baltimore Redbirds on Tuesday night was postponed again due to weather conditions, the Bethesda Big Train will travel to Herndon to face off against the Braves on Wednesday.
The Braves (10-9) currently sit in second place in the South Division, trailing only the 13-6 Big Train. The Big Train have emerged victorious in both of the teams' matchups thus far this season, winning 8-6 and 8-3.
Starting for the Big Train will be John Murphy (Maryland). The junior right-hander is 1-2 on the season, with a 5.87 ERA and 10 strikeouts. He was the winning pitcher in the Big Train's first game against the Braves, tossing 6 innings of 3-run ball.
First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Herndon High School.
