Sean Barry (University of San Diego) is slated to be the Big Train’s starting pitcher. He has not faced the Braves in any of his six appearances (including four starts) this season. Barry does, however, have a 2-0 record and a 1.36 ERA on the season. He has struck out 29 and walked nine over 26 ⅓ innings pitched. Look for him to keep the Braves, who are batting .262 as a team, quiet.

Allen Smoot (University of San Francisco) performed well at the Cal Ripken League All Star Game on Wednesday, reaching base three times (a double and two walks), driving in a run, and scoring the second run of the game. Smoot is batting .311 for Big Train this season, and leads the team with 32 RBIs. Look for him to continue to help Big Train push runs across the plate.

First pitch is set for 7:30 PM at Shirley Povich Field. It’s International Night, so make sure to come out for activites by KID Museum and special performances by Mariacha El Aguila.
