Slide Into a Good Book This Summer
Bethesda Big Train Baseball is partnering with Washington Parent and Montgomery County Public Libraries to promote the County’s Summer 2021 reading program.
Contestants must be 14 years old or younger. Each student who submits an entry will receive one free youth ticket to a Big Train game in 2021 (or 2022 if there are Covid related restrictions on our 2021 season), a bookmark, and a Big Train schedule. Entries will be on display at Shirley Povich Field.
The winning design will be featured on the front of the official Big Train Summer Reading Bookmark promoting the Summer 2021 reading program of the Montgomery County Public Libraries. In addition, if your design is selected, you will get to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at the Big Train’s Slide Into a Good Book Night at Shirley Povich Field in Cabin John Regional Park. You and three others will be treated to a picnic dinner with our mascot Homer before the game.
All entries must be mailed by April 7, 2021 to: Big Train Summer Reading Bookmark Contest, 7211 Exeter Road, Bethesda, MD 20814.
