Chris Rogers is returning for his sixth season with Big Train, his third as the Assistant General Manager. Chris joined the Big Train organization in 2015 as a writing intern, and subsequently spent two summers as the Volunteer Coordinator before transitioning into his current role. He schedules in-game entertainment, anthem singers and our wonderful volunteers, and oversees the logistics of the pre-game ceremonies. Chris is in charge of digital graphics and promotional material for the organization, and assists with training the broadcast, writing and social media interns each summer.
An avid baseball, football and hockey fan, Chris has attended Big Train games since he was a kid, and closely follows baseball from the college level all the way up to MLB. He holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Maryland, where he spent two years as the managing editor of the Maryland Baseball Network. At Maryland, he also wrote for Stories Beneath the Shell, the Greenbelt News Review and Capital News Service.
