Chris Rogers

Assistant GM

Chris Rogers is returning for his fifth season with Big Train, his second as the Assistant General Manager. Chris joined the Big Train organization in 2015 as a writing intern, and subsequently spent two summers as the Volunteer Coordinator, a role now integrated into his current position. He schedules in-game entertainment, anthem singers and our wonderful volunteers, and oversees the logistics of the pre-game ceremonies. Chris is in charge of digital graphics and promotional material for the organization, and assists with training the operations, writing and social media interns each summer.

An avid baseball, football and hockey fan, Chris has attended Big Train games since he was a kid, and closely follows baseball from the college level all the way up to MLB. He holds a journalism degree from the University of Maryland, where he spent two years as the managing editor of the Maryland Baseball Network, and also wrote for Stories Beneath the Shell, the Greenbelt News Review and Capital News Service.
