Biography:

Spring Stats: Had a 1-0 record with a 2.50 ERA in 15 appearances and 18 innings pitched with 17 strikeouts. He yielded five earned runs in his 15 appearances.

Personal: In his senior year at Glenelg High School, he led Howard County in wins and strikeouts, and was named County Player of the Year. He pitched to a 1.08 ERA and allowed only nine hits in 27.1 innings. Was also named to the Maryland Association of Baseball Coaches Preseason All-State Team. Ranked seventh among Maryland baseball players. He threw two 18-strikeout games in a two-week period. Son of Brent and Alisa Johnson.
