2023 Big Train Community Heroes of the Night
In 2023, we continued this program. Each nonprofit received 25 free tickets and dinner on their game night thanks to the continued generous support of the Jim and Carol Trawick Foundation and Sandy Spring Builders. See below for the full list of this season's Community Heroes.
This summer, we also honored individual Community Heroes as well, including these six leaders:
- Chuck Williams, Scotland A.M.E. Zion Church and Second Century Project;
- Mark Bucher, Feed the Fridge;
- Tom Manger, U.S. Capitol Police Chief and former Chief of the Montgomery County Police Department;
- Jamie Raskin, U.S. Representative (MD-8);
- Lupi Quinteros-Grady, President & CEO, Latin American Youth Countil (LAYC); and
- Brooke Levey, Executive Director, Down Syndrome Network
Again, the Trawick Foundation is contributing $250 to each of the nonprofits represented by these individual Community Heroes.
